RUSH Concert

I just went to THE most incredible concert hosted by my brothers from the north, RUSH. They're quirky, fifty-something rockers whose first album was released in 1974, the stinken year I was born. Obviously the pic above is taken from around that time.
This tour is for their new cd, Snakes and Arrows and although I wasn't all that thrilled to hear so much of the new stuff, most of the new release seemed pretty good. Also amazing was that the entire crowd, I mean entire crowd stood for three hours of incredible music experience. Okay, the band took "a break for the elderly," as frontman Geddy Lee said so there were almost three hours of music. The crowd was exceptionally diverse - old, young, kids, and lots of drummers because Neil Peart is one of the greatest drummers in the history of the recorded drumming world. That's not bias for a fellow Canadian, just the pure facts. My advice, if you ever get a chance to see RUSH, go. You will be entertained and you will be amazed at their complete musical talent.
